Commercial

Commercial landscaping

Quality landscaping, grading and lawn installation, hardscaping, planting and planting beds, and concrete solutions. The appearance of your business tells the world about you.

Chapter 01

The frontage is the first thing a customer reads

The appearance of a business tells the world about it before a single customer walks in the door. A cracked walkway, a bare bed or an uneven lawn reads as neglect, whatever is actually going on inside the building. Cloverleaf treats the grounds of a commercial site as part of what the business is selling.

That applies to a small storefront and to a shopping center alike. The City Center planter project, elsewhere on this site, started from exactly this problem: an ugly area of bare granite that the shops around it looked out on every day.

Grading and lawn installation on a working site

Commercial grading and lawn installation follows the same order as residential work, just on a site that usually stays open for business while the crew is on it. Grading sets the drainage and the slope, and seeding or sodding follows once the ground underneath is right.

Working around customers, deliveries and parked cars is the real difference from a house job. Cloverleaf's crews schedule and stage material so the site keeps functioning while the lawn and grading work gets done.

Chapter 03

Concrete and hardscape on the same lot

Commercial jobs also cover hardscaping such as patios, walkways and retaining walls, planting and planting beds, and concrete solutions, often all on the same property. A seat-height wall might double as a screen for a bike rack or a dumpster pad, and a planting bed might be doing the job of hiding a utility box as much as looking good.

The same crews and the same materials from the retail yard carry over from residential jobs, which is why a commercial customer gets the same graduate landscape architect drawing the plan as a homeowner does.
